Part two, this time the town itself...
We are a group of Enthusiasts from all over the world, mostly Germany, who create historical battles in scale 1:72. As we do this since more than 10 years we thought it is time for our own blog. Being a historical enthusiast I wanted to fulfill my dream of producing my own figures in this scale too. So I started working with several sculptors to produce exotic figures in 1:72 which I fear nobody else would bring on the market.

Krisztian painted again figures from my own range
I am very greatful for Krisztian who had the time to paint some more of my figures which are already in the shop.
First the Schutztruppe . Massimo already sculpted 15 figures for me, the first five are in the shop. As for the other 10 which photos you have seen on the blog we waiting for silicone to make the mould. Hopefully they will be available soon.
The other ones are regular Indian Sepoys in the Service of the Indian princes to fight the British.
The source for this figures was an old b/w painting from a special exhibiton of the 200th aniversary of General De Boignes death.
Many thanks to Alfred who found this picture in his collection.
This kind of uniform was worn by most regular Indian Sepoys in the armies of the princes. For example this could be (in my eyes) the uniform of the Marattha regular Sepoys at the battle of Asayee 1803.
These figures are available here.
But the green marching one is not of this range, but the first figure for a new idea of mine, the Carnatic wars of the 1750ies. Part of the Seven Years war in India.
To be honest, I stole the idea for this figure from the great range of 28mm from Golconda Rising. A great blog which sadly had no new post in the last month....
This is a regular infantryman of the Begums army which fought the British. Hopefully I can expand this range too very soon:-))

Han Chinese by Stephan Berry
Stephan already posted some of this photos in Benno's forum, but I think they deserve more audience and I want to show them here again. The figures are mostly from the range of 3-D-models available from CW-Toys of if you prefer to order directly http://www.dddhk.com/prod2.html.
As usual Stephan did a great work with the details.
The Han came more into my focus when reading the last issue of one of my favourite magazines Ancient warfare with a nice article called: The Debate: J. Albert Morales, 'Could the Han Chinese have defeated the Macedonian army? - The War of the Heavenly Horses'. Illustrated by José Antonio Gutierrez Lopez and Mark Churms.
It has a nice painting of Han-Chinese storming a Greek (better Baktrian) town in the war of the heavenly horses.

More photos from Alfred - Again Hungarians 955AD - This time the siege of Augsburg
Alfred told me that there is another diorama close to the official diorama of the battle of Lechfeld. Sadly it is not open for the public, but Alfred had the connections to see it.
As he might it would not be interesting to him (and me:-)) he sent me the photos to put them on the blog.
And here the first bunch...
