We already have several sets of Russian infantry in our shop, sculpted by Leonid and Massimo.
Now JJ from Australia joined our group and wanted to have much more Russians. We discussed several posibilities and came to the decission that figures without heads give us a lot of possibilities.
So I looked after the regular drill poses of the Russians and Massimo sculpted these headless guys.
Next the idea was to use different heads. We have here to offer:
Grenadier Shako 1808
Musketier Shako 1809
Grenadier Shako 1809 (mostly worn in 1812-13)
Kiver 1813
Fieldcap
Mitre for Pavlov Grenadiers
Another Kiver for the Russian guard with the eagle will follow
We will use the system more often in the future. Especially when Pieter and I tried to find the uniforms for Spanish units 1809-1814 we gave nearly up. So the idea came to make some dollies in regular poses and afterwards just add the little differences to the uniform to create the special regiments.
BTW, next in the line of JJ are Russian reservists and infantry in campaign dress.
The figures are already in the shop. But be careful, order enough heads and not just the figures:-)
We are a group of Enthusiasts from all over the world, mostly Germany, who create historical battles in scale 1:72. As we do this since more than 10 years we thought it is time for our own blog. Being a historical enthusiast I wanted to fulfill my dream of producing my own figures in this scale too. So I started working with several sculptors to produce exotic figures in 1:72 which I fear nobody else would bring on the market.

Another find from Ebay - An ACW Ironclad
This is the second time I found such an auction on Ebay Germany. This one went for around 70 Euros.
I am wondering if there is a manufactor making such a boat as a model?

A Napoleonic Baden army
At the dioramica I was able to round up my collection with the missing sets of Francesco's great range of the Baden army.
Something which is a great addition to my 1809 army fighting the Austrians.
Here just some samples form his range
Infantry
Monted infantry officer
Jäger
Light Dragoons
And as you know I like the exotics - The Baden Garde du Corps
Now just a set of fighting GDC is missing - we could use them for Straßburg 1815
Ok, if you want to see more, take some time and visit his shop
