Our Hobbyfriend Didier from Borodino Figurines sent us these photos of his painted Vienna Militia 1809 from Hagen Miniatures, sculpted by Frank Ziegler

They are so good that I wanted to share them with you.

Dioramaproject Korbitz - it goes forward

Over the last few month I had not much time to work on our new project. Last weekend I visited Schmitty and together we played a little bit Dr. Frankenstein:-) 

As there is no Prussian cavalry (beside hussars) for the SYW available on the marked, we started converting existing figures like in the good old days. The Zvezda 1812 Saxons are the best source for Prussian Cuirassiers. The rest will be done with a paintjob. 

While I was beheading many Saxons, Schmitty cut to pieces the hussars. See the results of an afternoon.

More French in Bardin uniform from Frank Ziegler

 To be honest, I would be glad to see more figures for his range of Napoleon's Egyptian campaign, for example Mameluks as enemies for his French. 

On the other hand I can understand that figures for popular subjects cover their costs faster than the lesser known subjects.

Peter Schuchhardt's 3D-Models

 My mate Peter who already "sculpted" some vehicles and guns for Hagen and Blackwatch.

Now Peter started his official shop. So if you want to have your own special product, simply write him and he can fulfill your wishes if he has enough information on it.

And if you don't want a 3d-printed model, but in metal we could cast it.

New figures from Darek

 Darek is very good in sculpting Pancernis. we already casted some for sell in the Hagen Shop. I like these guys, together with the winged hussars I plan a charge on Russian infantry in 1612. 

I would say another obscure diorma idea:-) 

Beside the Pancernis he also made some conversions of Thracian warriors. Very useful too, as in my collection I have a lot of HAT figures. Some more poses would bring more life into the units.

The project after Fröschwiler will be The "Düppeler Schanzen" 1864

 The first war of Bismarck's wars of German Unifictation was against Danmark in 1864. Here the Austrians fought on the Prussian side (while in 1866 it was their part to stood in the way).

The most famos battle of this war was the Prussian charge on the Danish redoubt at Düppel.

In 1864 the Prussian infantry wore no helmets, so we have made head-conversions of the Blackwatch 1866-1871 infantry, which is only available on request.

Massimo already sculpted the first set of Danish infantry. Also the Prussian artillery is available now, I just wait for Patricks photos to put them in the shop:-)
