Wolfgang Hartungs Viking Village

 Our late hobbyfriend Wolfgang Hartung wanted Patrick to have his latest projekt, a Viking village. Patrick finished the diorama which is now on display in the museum.

I am sure Wolfgang would have liked it.

Russian redoubts at Sevastopol 1854

 My friend Schmitty bought this great redoubt and I was able to take a closer look at my last visit to him.

The Crimean war is still a subject I have on my focus. Now with this redoubt I am wondering how a long defensive line of Russians would look like on a bigger plate:-) Maybe an attack on the Redan and the Malakoff?

Darek was busy again

 Last week Darek sent me some more photos from his conversions.

The celtic warriors come too late for my Medway diorama, but the Osman cavalry are interesting for the siege of Vienna. I think the armoured guy needs a longer arm.
