Frank was busy, sculpting more figures for his 15th century range. This time knights
And Andy had the time to search through his old stuff from the times of Finescale factory. Several sets of figures and equipment are still left and he will overwork them a little to bring them again into the shop. We start with medieval artillery.
Finally Thomas Mischak (TM 1815 Miniatures) sent a photo of his first set painted. Dutch casualties for Waterloo
We are a group of Enthusiasts from all over the world, mostly Germany, who create historical battles in scale 1:72. As we do this since more than 10 years we thought it is time for our own blog. Being a historical enthusiast I wanted to fulfill my dream of producing my own figures in this scale too. So I started working with several sculptors to produce exotic figures in 1:72 which I fear nobody else would bring on the market.

http://earlywarminiatures.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=366_487&zenid=3fa4917d43e164cd19f4c721e424a7d1
Great figures like this here available
Beside this figures for Pancho Villa are available from Spencer Smith. Some years ago Old John
sent me this photos from Jacklex
All of them available here http://www.spencersmithminiatures.co.uk/html/us-mexico_1917.html.

In my own collection I have also figures from BB-Miniatures. But I haven't found them in their actual range. Now the Mexican regular army would be nice...

Ming-Chinese to fight our Japanese
To have a good start into a new week full of work I thought I show you some more of our news.
Here our friend Leonardo (Phersu) sculpted some more enemies for our Japanese.
All in all there are more than 30 Ming-Chinese troops in the pipeline to help the Koreans fighting the invaders. Here photos of the first three sculpts Strange what can happen to medieval artillerymen:-)

Calenzano Museo di Soldatini
When visiting Massimo last year he showed us a great little museum of Toy-soldiers which is run by a group of local collectors.
One of the series "Dogs in WW1"
I made detail photos of all of them, thinking about starting a colonial Italian army in 1/72 too.
Armoured cars are my favourites too. In 1/72 available from Reviersco, while this is a 1:35 scale one.
Of course great napoleonic vignettes too.
Medievals - inspiration for this years Poitiers 1356 project
Just an overview
And here how figures are made.
Figures and dioramas in all scales, a very impressing museum. See here a selection of the photos we made there

New Samurai and Ashigarus from Massimo
Here we have 20 new figures for our ever growing range of the Japanese attack on Korea 1592.
Very soon these figures will be available too in our shop together with the already available figures.
Much more figures like for example three different units of Ming-Chinese infantry or artillery are in the pipeline.

Constantinople 1453
Some years ago I visited Istanbul. A great place for a hstorian! Here they had a new museum with a Panorama-painting about the siege of 1453.
Or another painting from the Askeri Museum
Now I stumpled over this blog here with a very nice little diorama. See photos like these on the link.
