The occupation of Babylon by the Assyrians - with flat figures

In the history musem at Morgen in Switzerland are many flat figure dioramas. Some of them I already showed in the past.

I like these early ancient subjects. And the paintjob is great. I also found the buildings interesting. Could be done with more color - and of course in 1/72 too:-)

A Roman camp in the figure museum of Calezano

While searching through my archive to find some photos for a new post, I stumbled over this one.

At Calezano (Toskana, Italy) is a very nice little figure museum. Figures of all scales and subjects are covered there.

One of them was this 1:72 diorama of a Roman army post.

Austrian Jäger 1859

When Massimo told me, he is working on Austrian Jäger for Solferino, he sent me these photos

I told him, that the Kaiserjäger Museum in Innsbruck has some nice paintings of Austrian Jägers in the Risorgimento. Especially this one for Solferino.

The next thing I got were these photos:

You can buy them from Massimo directly and very soon here

And just for fun, another painting:-)

Interesting conversions for the AWI

My friend Timo asked me to get some Sepoys of my Wellington in India range which he wanted to convert into figures for the AWI.

I was interested to see what he had in mind and now I got the photos - a great result!
