The Irish army in the 1930ies

Some years ago I went with some friends to the UK and to Ireland to visit a friend who lived in Dublin.

He showed us his favourite hobby-shop there which was smaller then my hobbyroom:-) But it had it's flair and the guy running the shop told us that the boss of the Irish Nationalmuseum was a member of their model-club.

Of course the next day we visited the museum which has some real interesting military subjects to offer.
When we met the guy there he just organised some dioramas for an exhibition of the Irish army.

As I have never seen such stuff before and later I thought it might be interesting for some of you too.

Here you can recognise some of the old Airfix-Figures, but I am not sure which manufactor the others are.
