Especially for Duncan

Hi Duncan,

I am glad to hear that you think about this campaign too. Here are some "official" paintings about the campaign of 1883-85. The colours are not really perfekt with the Anamites and Chinese, but the cut of the cloth is. Any idea how to convert them?










Not the best quality, I made the photos in a bad light.

 But most of them are available at the web too. Try Wikipedia Franco-Chinese war or Tonkin. A great source I think.

    just part of my "small" archive:-)))

    Not from this source, but take a look at this link where you will find them all too.

    Then go to campaigns involving, campaigns in 1883-85 etc. and you will find a lot of stuff for this campaign. But you will need hours working yourself through this!!
