Between all these posts of the dioramica I wanted to show you the latest set from Massimo.
This is a set of Massimo's own brand, not available through Hagen.
If you want to have it you may have to send a mail to Massimo directly.

I already bought my own at the dioramica. Great stuff! And Massimo told me he wants to go forward with his range of uniforms at Bull Run!
We are a group of Enthusiasts from all over the world, mostly Germany, who create historical battles in scale 1:72. As we do this since more than 10 years we thought it is time for our own blog. Being a historical enthusiast I wanted to fulfill my dream of producing my own figures in this scale too. So I started working with several sculptors to produce exotic figures in 1:72 which I fear nobody else would bring on the market.

More photos from the dioramica
Here are some more little dioramas that were on show
This was the only 28mm diorama on show. Ok, not the scale the fair was made for, but at is made (all the figures sculpted also) by my friend Ingo, I promised to show it.
The rest is 1/72 scale. Let's start with some new figures from Denis. Hopefully very soon in our shop. His project of the SYW French army is growing bigger and bigger.
And here some photos how he works on the masters
And to complete todays post of course another diorama. For my friend Marc - here the diorama for which the Staff figures from Art-Miniaturen were made for

The last weekend at the Dioramica
First of all I must say I am still tired from the lot of good discussions and good beer in the evenings.
The fair would have been the best I've been there even without the visitors because I met nearly all my hobbyfriends there. Most of the producers and sculptors in 1/72 were there too.
On Display were a lot of big and small dioramas, all of them Gems.
We talked about future projects in diorama building and in producing figures.
For a long time Francesco (Franznap) and I had the chance to meet each other personally. We always missed each other in the last two years.
So now Francesco and we are cooperating, trying to organise complete armies for different wars to complete the ranges.
But what should I write about a lot - simply a great weekend, a lot of new ideas and around 500 photos from my camera. Here are the first few:
A nice little diorama of the 1812 campaign - Bad luck for the Poles
Here one of the bigger ones - The siege of a Phoenician town by Mr. Cryns. A great one. Especially ths ships. One was made from wood, no model!
And just one photo from our own diorama. More will follow with the next post
