Darek sculpted some nice figures and painted them. It is still a subject, I have in mind for a future project.
They are a nice addition to all these western uniforms of the period 1680-1720
We are a group of Enthusiasts from all over the world, mostly Germany, who create historical battles in scale 1:72. As we do this since more than 10 years we thought it is time for our own blog. Being a historical enthusiast I wanted to fulfill my dream of producing my own figures in this scale too. So I started working with several sculptors to produce exotic figures in 1:72 which I fear nobody else would bring on the market.

I have a job at which I am often on tour through Bavaria. Last week, a meeting was cancelled, why I was on the way to Nuremberg and close to Ingolstadt. So I took the chance to visit the Römer-Kelten museum in Manching.
They had a special exhibition on the Roman army. The owner of this exhibition is my hobbyfriend Thomas Kurtz. That was reason enough to have a break:-)
Not only the special exhibition but the museum itself is always worth a visit
Frank asked me, which set he should make next in his own range. My answer was "Prussian Ulans or Landwehr-cavalry - Simply somthing that nobody made so far".
Well his next mail was - "Look what I did". Ok, I fear this set is much more popular than what I have in mind... At least the first set in correct loading and firing poses:-)
