And again with 54mm figures - they have a lot in the museums there...
I like this period:-)
We are a group of Enthusiasts from all over the world, mostly Germany, who create historical battles in scale 1:72. As we do this since more than 10 years we thought it is time for our own blog. Being a historical enthusiast I wanted to fulfill my dream of producing my own figures in this scale too. So I started working with several sculptors to produce exotic figures in 1:72 which I fear nobody else would bring on the market.

War-Museum Josephstadt, Czecz Republik
When we were at Königgrätz in 2016, we drove around to visit all the museums in this area.
Not too far away was the old Austrian military town of Josephstadt.
It has a very interesting museum, covering Czech military history with a special section on models.
See here some photos of a fictional French attack on the town, defended by Austrians (around 1813)
Nice to see 1/72 in museums...

Battle of Chlum/Königgrätz 03. July 1866
This is a nice diorama with 54mm figures. Together with Alfred, I spent my weekend on the 150th aniversary there. We had a great trip, very long walks over the battlefield, saw a big reenactment and visited several museums.
This is a subject, where I could use my Prussian Picklehaubes against another enemy.
Here I take Alfred's photos, mine I will use for the next diorama

Austrian Infantry 1859
After the Jäger, now the Austrian Line infantry in the 1859 campaign.
Much more sets will follow. I like this subject very much:-) And it is Massimo at his best!
