Battle of Cowpens

 is the title our Hobbyfriend Stephan gave his latest work.

I remember the time, when I had my own hobbyroom with a plate of 2x3 meters for creating such dioramas too. When the children grew up, they took over the room - and they are still there....

See all the new HAT sets appearing there. The cavalry is a nice touch. I hope for the next one with a lot of Hessians:-)

Some news on the American war of independence

 Our Hobbyfriend Uwe Rausch asked to print the Grenadiers in 40mm and painted them as SYW Prussians of the 48th regiment. This is the result:-)

And we increased the range with a Hessian artillery crew

 Thomas Ströbelt from TS-Miniaturen asked if I am interested in getting some flags for our 18th century figures. I asked him to show what he is able to do - see the result.

Here the next 3D-Masters of our SYW/AWI project

When Patrick printed the charging Hessian Musketeers for me, I painted one as Freikorps Wunsch for my Korbitz project and sent him this very bad photo through WhattsApp. In the middle the printed figure, the other two Art-Miniaturen. 

His answer was, he is thinking about changing his own Kolin project, not using the Art-Miniaturen he has, but our own. 

So we decided to create a complete range of SYW figures. We already have the Austrian Hussars and now you may call it as you want, we have new poses for the SYW, AWI, even some armies of the French Revolution.

We start with simple head conversions into Grenadiers

Next is a firing line in proper regular loading poses, all steps to load a musket coveed. These as Musketeers and Grenadiers too. BTW, the Musketeers don't have a mustache. 

I am not sure, if we should produce them as Fusiliers too, but as for the poses, we will add NCO's, Casualties and a color group.

On the top of the pipeline is now the Artillery and SYW Prussian dragoons. Much more to follow.

The good thing with 3D-Files is, you can print them in any scale you want. 

Conversions for AWI

 Years ago my mate Pay sent me photos of figures from his collection, which he wanted to sell. I was too late to get these figures, another hobbyfriend was more lucky. 

These figures are converted and painted by a guy, whom we call "the painting friend". I was often offered some of his great figures and have many in my collection.

First some AWI  3rd American dragoons and a train vehicle

Next some old school conversions. I can't remember, what I myself converted from the old Airfix Cuirassiers. 

And some Prussian staff figures
