Trenck was a famos freecorps leader of the Austrian army in the war of the Austrian succession. His unit so interesting, that our friend Holger asked, if Massimo can sculpt them.
Alfred had a nice doll in 1/16 scale or so, which I photographed and sent the details to Massimo.
And here what Massimo made from out of it
in my eyes, simply great. But they could be a challenge to paint. To be honest, now I am thinking myself to add the first Grenzers of this period to this range. Simply because they are all so colorful.
We are a group of Enthusiasts from all over the world, mostly Germany, who create historical battles in scale 1:72. As we do this since more than 10 years we thought it is time for our own blog. Being a historical enthusiast I wanted to fulfill my dream of producing my own figures in this scale too. So I started working with several sculptors to produce exotic figures in 1:72 which I fear nobody else would bring on the market.

Three more Prussian Generals for the Seven Years war
Our friend Holger who already offers five Prussian Generals in our shop asked for three more Personalities.
Here come some more Prussian Generals. I remember one of them is General Werner (Hussar), but have to check my mails who the two others are.
These photos came from Massimo yesterday and I thought I simply need them for a new post:-)

French infantry for the French and Indian war
Some weeks ago our friend thomsomfeld sent me photos of his latest conversions for the seven years war.
What do you say to this figures? Maybe we should think about casting them as it is a great subject in my eyes.

Arquebusiers de Grassin
This morning I checked the blogs I follow for the news and have seen that Alfons Canovas put one of
my favourite units on this blog.
As the battle of Fontenoy is one of the things I have in mind for a future project because it is one of the most colourful as the only battle in which the French Guard cavalry fought as a complete unit, not just the Gendarmes and you have beside the British a Dutch army too.
So some years ago I asked Leo from Phersu miniatures to make me some poses for this unit. These are the oldest figures with which everything started and which I have on the shop too.
The unit slowed the advance of the British in the woods in front of the main french line and lost nearly 50% of their 1000 men strenght.
What do you think, worth to make more poses?
