War of Spanish Succession

I know my friend John will like them. Michael Einsiedel is working on a diorama for the museum in Höchstädt (Blenheim) in 1/72 which they will add to their exhibition which is already worth a visit.

Alfred bought some stuff for Austria 1809

Two days ago Alfred sent me these photos. This are the masters (or what is left of them) which
Uwe Ehmke made for our Aspern project some years ago.

 Do you think it is worth working them over and make a mould to offer them for others too?
Looks like it would be some kind of work...

This is the bohemian legion. It was of special interest to me as I wanted to have a special unit between all these whitecoats on the diorama.

The two on the left are Württemberg infantrymen.

Great Northern war

Some month ago Peter Johansson from Sweden showed me a photo of a Cavalry unit he painted.
I asked him to send me some photos so that I can post them here.

I have never seen a complete unit of Swedish/Finish cavalry of the Great Northern war. So I thought it could be interesting for you too.

And the best news for me this week...

... was the parcel from Michael Cremerius with the first resin castings of the 1870 Bavarian infantry made by Massimo. We found a way of casting these figures which made me very happy.

Now poor Massimo got a lot of work and orders from us. On the other hand he is young and needs the money:-)))

Here the first photo I got from them so that you can see the details.

Now the resin samples I got are on the way to Ingo who will add bases on them and afterwards they will got to Jörg who will cast them in metal.

Massimo has already made around seven more poses of dead and dying. And with the French infantry from HAT which I will get within the next two weeks the first 30 figures for the war are available. I hope for several hundred more:-)))

Starting with Egyptian cavalry from 1840 to 1870 (especially for my Crimean Ottoman army)

These guys here have a breathtaking quality in my eyes. I painted a few myself but after seeing this I think I will send him over several more. BTW, Krisztian would paint such figures for you too, we thought about adding a painting service to the shop. Now with having here the first of them I think I will ask Ingo that we can expand this range. Siege of Vienna 1683 is something I have in mind...

And again my Sepoys. I hope this is not too booring for you. In the last two month I heard the Sharpe in India Audiobooks while being on tour with the car. So I increased my armies here again.

These guys are Bombay or Madras infantry.

Bombay 12th regiment Grenadiers (for sure useful for other units too).

These Arquebusiers de Grassin for the battle of Fontenoy were made by Phersu. We thought about rounding up this unit with up to 10 poses including some command figures.
