Calenzano Museo di Soldatini - A Roman army camp

Two weeks ago we (Alfred, Andy, Jörg and me ) had a great tour to Italy. Visiting Massimo and having a great time there. Beside the good food and the long talks we had the chance to visit several museums. I want to show the some of them here now, starting with the Model figure museum in Calezano.

They had figures in every scale and from every period there on show.

World Modell Expo Stresa 2014

I asked Massimo to send me over some photos from the fair so that we can all see what was on show.
Massimo has the same taste as I have, colonials, Franco-Prussian war, Highlanders and some great other subjects.

Spanish artillery 1808

Francesco from Franznap painted a set of our Spanish artillery and allowed me to publish the photos hee too. I am really impressed by his painting skills!

Note that one figure is missing here, the set has a crew of 8 men.

Next set is this range will be Spanish cavalry.

Massimo sent some photos from the world model expo...

... where he won a silver medal for his diorama of  Keegans charge. Good to know we have such a guy in our team:-)
