French army, crossing the Danube 1809

Another great diorama at the Dioramica was Wolfgang's and Patrick's work on Napoleons Danube crossing at the battle of Aspern.

All the figures are sculpted by my mate Francesco (Franznap) miniatures and are of course for sell:-)

More French light infantry for Marengo

Frank sent new photos for his growing range

Here the line-up of the loading light infantry greens, with the firing ones, which are already casted in white metal, to a battle line in two rows feu  à volonte.

With them the soldier with the cantiniere in action, so to speak  a formation  feu à volonte & boire à volonté.

The cantiniere with her small barrel with spirits has a straw hat and tied up skirt for better movement. She offers a smal cup for a soldier, standing in the battling line, who is turning aside to her.

A little town in the times of the Crusades

Here another game that was on display at the dioramica.

This week I got a lot of photos from new masters - here more SYW

Frank sculpted a nice set of French infantry resting. These are for Rainer who works on a diorama for his regional museum. The Regiment Royal Roussilion camped there and was surprised by some allied troops.

But I think resting infantry in the SYW is a good subject for several dioramas:-)

Some new figures for the Franco-Prussian war

Our Hobbyfriend Andre asked for a special unit in the Franco Prussian war - Brunswick infantry.

The idea are mulitpose figures to create several poses. Massimo sculpted two figures with seperate arms and lose heads.

See here the first posibilities.  More figures will follow and then we will put them in a mold to cast complete figures.

Austrian Hungarian infantry 1848

Here the next set for Martin's (MM Miniaturen) range of the Risorgimento. Hungarian line infantry.

The figures were sculpted by Ingo.

These figures could be used as Hungarian line regiments, Grenzers and also are useful for the Hungarian uprising (my friend TK would call it the war of independence:-)) for both sides.

Line infantry 1848 is the left one. You see the difference to the 1813 version is mostly the shako.

Grenzers

And on the Hungarian side in 1849 the line infantry, but with black bandoliers.

So in my eyes a very useful set.

The new castings from this range are already on the way to me. Next weekend I will put Austrian Jäger, Artillery and Dragoons in the shop.

More French light infantry for Marengo

Frank wants to expand his range for Marengo. We already have the firing line in the shop.
Now this grows - and I heard about some interesting enemies too!

These figures fit perfectly with the range of French line infantry, available from Schilling Zinnfiguren.

Can't wait to increase my collection of painted figures for Marengo!
