Spanish Dragons 1808 from Hagen

With HAT and Emhar releasing figures for the Spanish army 1808/09 the subject became more popular for us collectors. In my own collection I already have Spanish soldiers from Falcata and NapoleoN (sadly both no more available), SHQ and even some old Hinton-Hunt and Scruby's.

I converted infantry from the Esci 1806 Prussians and cavalry from the Italieri Prussian 1806 Cuirassiers.

In the meantime Pieter already gave an order for Spanish artillery we offer in our shop. Now Pieter and Tony together took on the task to increase the Spanish army. First step is cavalry in waiting, advancing position. Charging poses are on the list too.

Kickstarter Projekt from Enfilade figures

Maybe some of you are interested in modern wars? Enfilade has some interesting figures in their range. Of course the usual US troops fighting Talibans, but also the first producer I have seen making modern Russians with "Eastern insurgents".

In the last year I became more interested in moderns too, but I am not sure what I would like to paint. Has anybody a suggestion for modern wars which could be more "colourful" than others.

Frank was busy, sculpting more figures for his 15th century range. This time knights

And Andy had the time to search through his old stuff from the times of Finescale factory. Several sets of figures and equipment are still left and he will overwork them a little to bring them again into the shop. We start with medieval artillery.

Ming-Chinese to fight our Japanese

To have a good start into a new week full of work I thought I show you some more of our news.
Here our friend Leonardo (Phersu) sculpted some more enemies for our Japanese.

All in all there are more than 30 Ming-Chinese troops in the pipeline to help the Koreans fighting the invaders. Here photos of the first three sculpts Strange what can happen to medieval artillerymen:-)
