After a long time now finally the compete Swiss Gewalthaufen from Frank Ziegler

In August 2013 I have seen these guys the first time and thought they will appear in our shop soon.
Well it took some time, resculpting, weapons done, upfilling the unit and now we have them.

But now we have 78 different poses without the commandfigures in the shop. You know we guys are a little bit crazy, fullfilling our own dreams and produce some very exotic stuff.
But a phalanx of so many different poses is something I haven't seen before.  Maybe I should ask Frank to sculpt a French column for the Peninsular war? :-)

New SYW figures from Hagen in 1/72 and also in 28mm

A lot of visitors on this blog come over from TMP. Usually the comments there are "great figures, but wrong scale". Well that is a point of view....

But the good thing is that several collectors who are interested in the system of the own production joint our group and asked for 28mm figures too.

So here are some photos of figures we got in the shop or will soon have there:


Michael sent figures made by Ingo for him years ago. We will expand this range of SYW Austrians in 28mm. These guys are already in the shop

Next will be Prussian infantry made by Massimo. Yes I know the poses are not regular ones, but this is what the hobbyfriend asked for!

But in 1/72 we have new figures made by Denis - and these guys are really great. French infantry for the SYW or FIW.

See the first photo of how they come out from the mould. You have two option of heads, musketeers or grenadiers. The second photo how I assebled them this morning. You see the regular positions from the drillbook.

Denis had done a lot of poses. These are the first to come. He wants to cover the complete French army from this period. Well I gave him a book about the light troops from this period:-)

Ok, it is a wargame. But I think it nearly has the character of a diorama. And the paintjob is really good!

Several guys asked me when we will bring more ancient figures on the market, especially with Darek sculpting so many.

We are just waiting to get new mould-masters from the manufactor and than we will have the following sets in the shop:

Jews 700 BC - My dream of the siege of Lachisch

Roman infantry and cavalry of the 3rd Century AD

Carthagians, Greek specialist troops, Iberians and now comming up a scene from Alesia

And not to forget more Scythians from Frank Ziegler

Taking the eagle and more Bavarians

Here I have photos from Massimo's latest work which I will hold in my hands next weekend:-)

The Scott's Greys at Waterloo of course. But we can try to make Royal Dragoons too.

And here two new figures for my Revolutionary range. I already started to paint some of the fighting guys for my collection. Oh, I like this uniform:-)

BTW, we can use this guys also for the Emigrant Legion Mirabeau

Cape Warriors

I guess all the 28mm collectors (and for sure the rest of the community too) know the figures and books from the Perry-brothers.

While I am an 1/72 man, so the 28mm range is not my cup of tea (ok, they are teasing...) their books are always worth their price.

After "Go strong into the dessert" I know got my copy of "Cape Warrior".
You know I am always after the lesser known subjects. In this book we have covered these campaigns very well in my eyes.

So if you are interested in the subject, go for this book which has btw several good color-drawings of soldiers from both sides.

And of course there are figures available in 28mm

But who hasn't said not in 1/72? :-) Take a look at these old figures from Ulf Debbeler sculpted after Bill Horans diorama "Incident at the Waterlkloof".
