Retreat from Russia 1812

Here a few photos of a little diorama Massimo made for another collector.

To be honest the retreat from Russia is not my most favourite subject of the Napoleonic wars, but it surely has its flair. When I see it, I simply remember all the snow I ususally have to push away in winter:-)
