Here some photos of another diorama Thomsomfeld made in the past.
I like this little gems with a real photo in the backround. Looks much more real.
We are a group of Enthusiasts from all over the world, mostly Germany, who create historical battles in scale 1:72. As we do this since more than 10 years we thought it is time for our own blog. Being a historical enthusiast I wanted to fulfill my dream of producing my own figures in this scale too. So I started working with several sculptors to produce exotic figures in 1:72 which I fear nobody else would bring on the market.

Bunker Hill dioramas in a bigger scale
Before I go into the holidays here another post.
Years ago I got these photos from a friend who visited the USA. He told me these dioramas are at the museum there. 54mm the one and the other looks smaller than 1/72.

Our old Bunker Hill diorama
Today while searching the web I stumpled over an old article from Thomas Mischak about our work on the Bunker Hill diorama around 10 years ago.
Also Kai Fuhrmann made a report of how we did it. For me nostalgic photos.

Here two photos of what you have to expect when surfing through the pages
I remember a Marathon of 3 days two nights painting. In the end with around 10 people we had finished the complete diorama.

Bunker Hill diorama from the battlefield
Yesterday my friend Jim from the US visited the Battlefield and Museum at Bunker Hill.
At the museum they have a small nice diorama of which Jim sent these two photos here
Nice ones but in the wrong scale:-) Here see again our own diorama in 1:72 which we put on display around
10 years ago.

Bunker Hill
After a busy week I thought about what to post this weekend. Then Timo Kreimes came to my help and sent me all his photos he made on his trip to the USA last month.
Between all this AWI stuff are photos from the local Bunker Hill museum. They have a very nice diorama there. Not 1/72 but as we did the battle ourself I thougt it interesting to post them here.
