Hi guys,
in the meantime we have 15 German Schutztruppe for the 1904 Herero uprising up to 1914 in the production. The figures will be for sell at the Kulmbach figure-fair in two weeks. Can't wait to get there again after two years. In my eyes one of the best fairs in Germany.
Massimo will make now some Herero warriors to fight them too and the range will get bigger within the year
with artillery, cavalry, camelry etc.
The first poses are already in the shop at http://www.hagen-miniatures.de/index.php/en/produkte/category/view/83
In the backround you can see our 1870 Bavarians and Prussians and at the left two French infantry for Fontenoi 1745.
We are a group of Enthusiasts from all over the world, mostly Germany, who create historical battles in scale 1:72. As we do this since more than 10 years we thought it is time for our own blog. Being a historical enthusiast I wanted to fulfill my dream of producing my own figures in this scale too. So I started working with several sculptors to produce exotic figures in 1:72 which I fear nobody else would bring on the market.

Krisztian painted again figures from my own range
I am very greatful for Krisztian who had the time to paint some more of my figures which are already in the shop.
First the Schutztruppe . Massimo already sculpted 15 figures for me, the first five are in the shop. As for the other 10 which photos you have seen on the blog we waiting for silicone to make the mould. Hopefully they will be available soon.
The other ones are regular Indian Sepoys in the Service of the Indian princes to fight the British.
The source for this figures was an old b/w painting from a special exhibiton of the 200th aniversary of General De Boignes death.
Many thanks to Alfred who found this picture in his collection.
This kind of uniform was worn by most regular Indian Sepoys in the armies of the princes. For example this could be (in my eyes) the uniform of the Marattha regular Sepoys at the battle of Asayee 1803.
These figures are available here.
But the green marching one is not of this range, but the first figure for a new idea of mine, the Carnatic wars of the 1750ies. Part of the Seven Years war in India.
To be honest, I stole the idea for this figure from the great range of 28mm from Golconda Rising. A great blog which sadly had no new post in the last month....
This is a regular infantryman of the Begums army which fought the British. Hopefully I can expand this range too very soon:-))

News from Hagen-Miniatures
Guys, I told you about the system of Hagen-Miniatures.
A lot of people brought their stuff into the shop, for example the old Italwars range from Italy,
the long missed Wodensfeld-range, several figures from different collectors who got their own label within the shop and now brought their figures into it.
And not to forget our own ranges of Imperial and Fritz-Figures. For the fans of 1870, Imperial has Prussian infantry and a French mitrailleuse, while Fritz has the Bavarians (which I still have to put into the shop) as well as the ex-HAT figures for the French infantry
The shop is still at www.hagen-miniatures.de . It would be great to get some orders to have the profit which we need for running the shop:-)))
See here some samples of what we got new from hobbyfriends:
SYW French infantry.
Here some Jewish priests and Tempelguards
And the first Schutztruppe figures made by Massimo are available from Fritz-Figures. The next 10 masters are here and will go their way to the caster tomorrow.

New Schutztruppe
And that you don't forget that I am producing figures too here are the latest masters from Massimo for my German Schutztruppe project. As always he did a great job!
See here the painting after which they were made
And the addition to the figures I already posted on the blog:
Today my friend Andy told me that the first castings went very well and that we can offer the Schutztruppe soon through our shop at www.hagen-miniatures.de .
I hope you like them. Let them fight against Hereros, Namas and British as well as Boers in 1914.
