Some new figures in our shop

Last weekend I got a huge parcel from Andy with all the new sets he made the moulds in the last two weeks.

Several ancient sets from Darek, for example these ones

Republican Roman infantry

Roman cavalry 3rd century AD

Also new Napoleonic sets like this great British staff I showed last week.

But also a big news is that Minairons decided to join our group too. So now we will have their complete range too. Interesting for those of you who want to safe postage.


My favourites are the Spanish regulares which I will use for the campaign in Morocco in the 1920ies

All the vehicles will come of course too.

Last but not least we were able to get the rights on the range of Uwe Ehmke's figures.
When we buildt the Apern diorama in 2009 Uwe sculpted for me nearly 100 masters for Austrian and French units. Sadly most of the moulds and masters are destroyed and I only have his castings which were not really perfect.

But we have surviving moulds of the Archduke Carl legion, a Freekorps which fought at Aspern. See here a photo from the diorama

The Franco-Prussian war again

Last week Alfred sent me the latest photos of their 1870 project. In 1:1 scale a Prussian batallion charging a position held by a French batallion.

This could be a centerpiece of a new diorama, I am already painting on the first company of a Zouave batallion to put on their flank:-)

I never can have enough of this period. Maybe next time the figures put on the diorama?

More Rumford-Bavarians for the French Revolution

Now I got the rest of the Bavarians I wanted from Massimo - This time in regular poses.

The Greek war of Independence in the 1820ies

While searching for photos of a new post I came over this little diorama here. I found the photos on Benno's forum some years ago.

A forgotten conflict but you know I like the obscure things:-)

And here a few photos from a book for Children (!!) I found at the Island of Corfu 15 years ago.

The only part of Greek history that is covered with figures in 1/72 are ancients and if you like some Byzantines.

What about the wars of the 1820ies, Greek bataillons in Russian service, 1897 against the Turks and later in the Balkan wars, WW1 and the next Turkish war of the 1920ies? I think there are a lot of interesting sets to produce in the future.

It is going on - British staff Napoleonic wars

Massimo already sculpted a set of the British commanders at Waterloo which is sold through Waterloo 1815.

Now he made for my friend Thomas this new set of British staff officers which will be sold by Hagen.

You see british ADC's, a General of light cavalry and a trooper from the Staff corps.

The masters are already on the way to Germany

Portuguese Infantry 1812

We have a new set in our growing range of Peninsular war figures.

This time it is marching Portuguese infantry. Next in the list will be Cazadores and we also thought about Artillery.

Here the photos which I got this morning from Massimo. I think the Grenadier needs wings with Cords, but beside this a nice advancing group.
