Today I got the parcel from the Schillings. Now 1870 starts in earnest, these figures are for sale now!!
I will put photos on my shop as soon as possible.
This is what I made tonight in bad light.
We are a group of Enthusiasts from all over the world, mostly Germany, who create historical battles in scale 1:72. As we do this since more than 10 years we thought it is time for our own blog. Being a historical enthusiast I wanted to fulfill my dream of producing my own figures in this scale too. So I started working with several sculptors to produce exotic figures in 1:72 which I fear nobody else would bring on the market.

Mysoreans
Mike Lachmuth who bought some of my figures from the shop sent me some photos of his paintings.
Of course I want to show them here too as I like them!
Especially the idea to use Esci-horses which are much cheaper then metal ones I am working on:-)

Bunker Hill
After a busy week I thought about what to post this weekend. Then Timo Kreimes came to my help and sent me all his photos he made on his trip to the USA last month.
Between all this AWI stuff are photos from the local Bunker Hill museum. They have a very nice diorama there. Not 1/72 but as we did the battle ourself I thougt it interesting to post them here.

War of Spanish Succession
I know my friend John will like them. Michael Einsiedel is working on a diorama for the museum in Höchstädt (Blenheim) in 1/72 which they will add to their exhibition which is already worth a visit.
See here his conversions, really breathtaking!
And some photos which I have seen of his work at Mainz
And here the work of his neighbour, I sadly don't know his name as his work is really great
And how do you like this 40mm figures from Germania figures?

Would it be interesting to have them in 1/72 too?
Alfred bought some stuff for Austria 1809
Two days ago Alfred sent me these photos. This are the masters (or what is left of them) which
Uwe Ehmke made for our Aspern project some years ago.
Do you think it is worth working them over and make a mould to offer them for others too?
Looks like it would be some kind of work...
This is the bohemian legion. It was of special interest to me as I wanted to have a special unit between all these whitecoats on the diorama.
The two on the left are Württemberg infantrymen.
